The Nursing Mother's Companion Breastfeeding Diary

The Nursing Mother's Companion Breastfeeding Diary
Most new mothers gain a sense of security in tracking their newborns' feedings and diapers. In the pages of The Nursing Mother's Companion Breastfeeding Diary by Kathleen Huggins and Jan Ellen Brown, mothers will find an inspiring quote and timely, practical advice from two long-time lactation specialists for every day of the baby's first two months. Journal space is provided for writing down memories, milestones, or questions and concerns to share with the baby's doctor. More than a log book, The Nursing Mother's Companion Breastfeeding Diary can become a keepsake of those first precious weeks shared by mother and child.

My thoughts - I really wish I had this when I was nursing my children. I was obsessive about noting down every feeding, burping, diaper change, major milestones etc. This diary is tailor made for that! There is also plenty of space for journaling, which is a big change from the one I used with my kids. From day one, a new Mom can start using this diary and know peace of mind in keeping track of each milestone and cherish those fleeting memories, preserved in paper and ink. As a bonus, there's an inspirational quote and a helpful tip about what to expect each day of the first two months of nursing. It's slim enough to fit easily in a diaper bag (but not a slim handbag, mind you) and is lightweight and won't add much to an already weighty bag.
